PROFILE
LM.C (short for lovely mocochang) is the current band of maya (ex-SINNERS) and Aiji (ex-Pierrot). Thanks in part to Aiji's Pierrot fame and their catchy releases and colorful image, the buzz surrounding this group started strong and isn't quieting down.

BIOGRAPHY
Although LM.C was originally formed by maya and others back in 2003, little is known about the early years of the group. Somewhat like their current line-up, they relied on support members and other musicians during lives, which is how Aiji, then still with Pierrot, first came to work with LM.C as a support guitarist. When rock band Pierrot announced their disbandment in 2006, Aiji decided to officially join maya in LM.C. Though maya may be best known to international fans as one of miyavi's support guitarists, he performs vocals for LM.C and leaves the guitar playing to the other man.The duo was signed to Pony Canyon and released their first two singles, Trailers (Gold) and Trailers (Silver), simultaneously in October of 2006. They took part in various events through the end of the year and well into 2007 before releasing a new single, OH MY JULIET. This was followed by their first album, GLITTER LOUD BOX, released in early March, and the announcement of a new tour. However, maya and Aiji were only getting warmed up, as they continued to tour and participate in events throughout the year, including a tour final at the famous Shibuya-AX.2007 also saw the release of three more singles and an Autumn tour in November.Starting off 2008 with the Winter extension of their tour, they followed that with the release of yet another single, JOHN, prior to kicking off their Spring tour at MA.CA.NA. in Sendai.Their next single, 88, released on June 4th, was used in the anime "katei kyoushi hitman REBORN!" On the same date, the duo also released their first DVD, a PV collection.Further extending their reach, LM.C made their first journey to the USA in July to perform at Anime Expo's "BATTLE OF THE BANDS 2008" and at Crash Mansion in Los Angeles. July also saw the band performing in Taiwan at Formoz 2008 alongside artists like Plastic Tree, Mono, Inoran, Akiakane and more.☆ROCK the PARTY☆'08, LM.C's first live DVD, was released on September 17th and the coming months will see the release of their new album, GIMMICAL☆IMPACT!!, as well as the start of their 2008-2009 tour, which will kick off at BAY HALL in Yokohama and take the band throughout Japan in November, December and January, making their European debut in January and February of next year, performing in Italy, Spain, France, the UK, Germany, Sweden and Finland! Not only that, but it was also announced that just prior to the European leg of their tour, LM.C will perform in Santiago, Chile and Sao Paulo, Brazil in January.Staying busy from the beginning, maya and Aiji don't seem to be ready to slow down any day soon. Already taking steps to expose their music to fans in the USA, Europe and South America, there are sure to be even bigger things on LM.C's horizon for the future. Set to spend the rest of 2008 and the start of 2009 touring, fans can only wait and see what LM.C will do following their return to Japan.
